Marybeth loves to cook. She creates breakfast for you from locally grown, organic ingredients whenever possible, many of which come from Natural Roots Farm. (David is shown with his horses above.) Her cuisine includes eclectic dishes from Morocco, as well as simple fare. She offers homemade yogurt and granola, made from scratch, along with fruit or eggs and varied home-baked breads and muffins. She always asks if you have special food needs. She will prepare food from the Zone diet, low carb, whatever you need. She will prepare food to accommodate special needs or preferences.
Your breakfast choices may include Moroccan crepes prepared from a recipe I  learned while traveling. From Marrakesh to the Sahara to the coast, Moroccan crepes are a specialty. On one rooftop terrace, my daughter and I had to duel with a seagull for our breakfast. Later, a friend from Marrakesh provided the recipe for me. You also may be treated to some New England or family favorites such as “Dutch Babies” , or something brand new, such as my Lemon Ricotta cheese pancakes, found in my extensive cookbook collection.
I love collecting dishes and decorating my dining room for the seasons. Your breakfast may be served on Bennington Pottery with its centuries old New England tradition, special Holiday dishware or my heirloom china.
Whatever the morning brings, there will be delicious food awaiting you in a lovely setting.

This picture is of Argan trees which are only found in certain areas of Morocco. My daughter and I had seen pictures of goats in trees and couldn’t imagine why or where we might see them. As we were driving North out of the Sahara, we began to encounter these low growing Argan trees which produce a hard fruit. Sure enough, many of the trees were full of goats who had climbed up to feast on the fruit. The Argan fruit produces an oil similar to olive oil which is used in cooking and cosmetics. I use it in my omelets and frittatas as an added flavor.
